After more than four months, the uprising of the Iranian people has entered a stage where political debates, speculations, and statistics have cast a shadow on the news of the streets.
This is despite the fact that since September 17, nearly 20 000 people have been arrested, more than 500 people, including 71 children, have lost their lives, hundreds of protesters have suffered irreparable injuries such as losing sight in one or both eyes, and many women have seen the darkest side of this anti-women regime under torture, sexual harassment, and rape.
We at The Revolution Times, regardless of our personal opinions as a part of Iranian society, have always tried and are trying to bring the news of this revolution to you while keeping an impartial political stance, therefore, before going to the rest of the news, we believe it’s necessary to remind ourselves the names of those who have been sentenced to death and their lives are in danger:

An End to Reform?
On Saturday, Mirhossein Mousavi published a statement in support of the "Woman Life Freedom" revolution in which he mentions the necessity of drafting a new constitution.
Mirhossein Mousavi, the former prime minister of the Islamic Republic, who during his tenure as prime minister, thousands of political prisoners were executed, is still under house arrest after the events of the 2009 presidential election and the Green Movement.
In this statement, Mousavi said: "Implementation of the Constitution without compromise, as a slogan that was hopeful thirteen years ago, is no longer effective and a step beyond that should be taken."
Mirhossein Mousavi's admission that the regime cannot be reformed is important because he is still considered to be the leader of reformists in Iran.
